Tofu Vegetable Kebabs with Peanut Sauce

Not every BBQ dish has to have meat. These Tofu Vegetable Kebabs are so full of flavour, they might just become your new favourite meal. Start by soaking 10 bamboo skewers in water for 20 to 30 minutes. Next, prepare the tofu marinade by mixing peanut butter, hot water, tamari (or soy sauce), mirin, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and garlic in a bowl. Add 14 ounces of extra firm tofu and let it sit for 20 minutes. Now you're going to add everything to the skewers and you can do so by alternating the vegetables and tofu. Now you're ready to BBQ! Brush the skewers with peanut sauce and grill for 7 to 10 minutes. When they're done, you can use the rest of the sauce for dipping.

Black Bean Burger With Caramelized Onions

You're going to love these burgers! Not only do they taste great, but they're packed with protein, too. To make your Black Bean Burgers, start by cooking 1 cup of quinoa. While that's going, take a large skillet and sauté onions, mushrooms and garlic for about 10 minutes. In a large mixing bowl, add mashed black beans, nuts, oats, quinoa, mushrooms, onion and garlic then mix in BBQ sauce, dijon, egg, salt and pepper. Mix everything together and start making patties. Place them on the BBQ and cook for a few minutes on each side. You can serve them in a bun (or without one) and top with caramelized onions, pickles, goat cheese and mayo. Yum!

BBQ Sardines With Chermoula Sauce

If you love fish, this is the dish for you! This BBQ Sardine recipe is ideal if you want a great tasting meal without the long prep work. Begin by adding coriander, parsley, garlic cloves, lemon, ground cumin, smoked paprika, chilli flakes and extra virgin olive oil into a food processor. Set aside and heat up the BBQ. Rub the sardines with some olive oil and thread the fish from head to tail on a skewer. Now you can grill the skewers for 3 minutes per side. Once they're done, drizzle with chermoula sauce and serve.

BBQ Sausage and Peppers

This BBQ Sausage recipe will leave you wanting more! It doesn't require a lot of ingredients or prep time, yet it's easy to make. In a large bowl, place the sausages, red bell peppers, red onion and jalapeno peppers. Add 1 can of beer and let it sit for an hour. While you wait for the grill to heat up, thread the sausage, onion, and peppers onto skewers. Cook everything until the vegetables are tender and the sausages are brown. In the last few minutes of cooking you can melt some provolone cheese on top and serve. If that doesn't get your mouth watering, we don't know what will!

Easy Grilled Chicken

For a tender and juicy piece of chicken, you have to try this Easy Grilled Chicken recipe. Since it's usually all about the marinade, let's start with that. In a medium bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, dijon mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. Set ¼ of the marinade aside and use the rest to mix with the chicken in a ziploc bag. Let it sit for at least one hour. When the BBQ is ready, grill the chicken for 6 minutes on each side. You can serve it with your favourite salad, quinoa or rice.
