Gingerbread Cookies
You can't go wrong with gingerbread cookies during the holiday season! To make these simple, yet yummy, Basic Gingerbread Cut-Out Cookies, you're going to need 11 familiar ingredients. Start by beating some butter, brown sugar and molasses together in a bowl until the mixture is fluffy. Add in cracked eggs. Grab another bowl and mix together some flour, cinnamon, allspice, ginger baking powder, salt and baking soda. Next, you're going to make two small disks out of the dough and chill them for a few hours up to two days. When you're ready to bake the cookies, heat your oven to 350F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Before you place the dough onto the paper, sprinkle some flour onto the surface. Create whatever shapes you like using cookie cutters and make sure to leave ½ an inch between each cookie on the tray. Finally, bake the cookies for 15-18 minutes, or until they turn light brown. Let them cool for a few minutes and serve!

Old-Fashioned Sugar Cookies
It doesn't get any more classic than Old-Fashioned Sugar Cookies! To make the cookies, grab some butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix them together. You're going to need an electric mixer for this. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt, then stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Let it chill for a few hours. Before you start baking, preheat your oven to 350F and line two baking trays with parchment paper. Shape the cookies however you like and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure to let the cookies cool fully before you start decorating. To make the royal icing, grab a clean and dry bowl and combine confectioners' sugar, meringue powder and 3/4 cup water. Mix thoroughly until the icing looks pure white and thick. Add a teaspoon of food colouring of your choice and mix it until even. Now you're all set to decorate the cookies! Decorate them with the royal icing and enjoy!

Molasses Crinkle Cookies
Craving soft and chewy cookies? These Molasses Crinkle Cookies won't disappoint! It will take you 2.5 hours to make this recipe (prep included), but it's totally worth it! In a mixing bowl, combine the following: all-purpose flour, whole-wheat flour, brown sugar, ground ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, unsalted butter, molasses, whole milk, granulated sugar and powdered sugar. Ideally, you'll want to use an electric mixer for this. When everything is mixed, divide the dough into 2 portions. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill until the mixture is firm. Set your oven to 350F. Line a baking tray or two with parchment paper and shape the dough into 36 balls. Grab a couple bowls to use for the two types of sugar coatings. Roll each ball in a bowl full of granulated sugar, then roll again in a bowl full of powdered sugar and then bake for 12 minutes. Before serving, let your cookies cool completely.

Oatmeal Chocolate and Walnut Cookies
For a healthy but delicious recipe, try these Oatmeal, Chocolate and Walnut Cookies. If you're kind of tired of classic chocolate chip cookie, adding walnuts gives this recipe a new delicious flavour and some good fats. Begin by combining brown rice flour, white rice flour, potato starch, cornstarch, granulated sugar, brown sugar and butter in a bowl. Mix everything together well, preferably with an electric mixer, until the mixture is smooth. Next, add in vanilla and eggs. Keep mixing, then add walnuts and chocolate chips. Preheat the oven to 350F and spoon out teaspoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes or when you notice them turning golden brown. Let them cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
