Chicken and Pineapple Skewers

For a simple and delicious BBQ recipe, try these Chicken and Pineapple Skewers. Start by making the sauce. In a pan, mix ketchup, honey, soy sauce, mustard, garlic, lemon juice and sugar. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and set aside. Now take 8 chicken thighs and cut them into pieces. Cut the pineapple into 1 1/2-inch chunks. Grab a skewer and alternate pieces of chicken and pineapple and when you're done, glaze them with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Brush the skewers with the sauce and place on the grill and cook for 10-to-15 minutes. You're going to want to save half of the sauce for dipping, so don't use it all up!

Delicious Beef Burger

Have you been searching for the perfect Beef Burger recipe? Well, this is it! It's quick, easy and doesn't require too many ingredients. Begin by mixing one egg, 2 tsp of water, ¼ cup bread crumbs, ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 onion, 2 tsp of Dijon mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix in 1 pound of lean ground beef and then form ½-inch-thick patties. Place them onto the BBQ and cook for roughly 10 minutes, or until the meat is no longer red in the middle. You can serve them with a salad or in buns!

Carrot Hot Dogs

This is an interesting take on a classic hot dog, and it's vegan! To make these Carrot Hot Dogs, you're going to need 8 large carrots, buns and a few ingredients for the marinade and topping. Start by mixing the following ingredients in a bowl: soy sauce, vegetarian broth, vinegar, maple syrup, garlic powder, paprika and liquid smoke. Pour the marinade over the carrots and throw it on the BBQ (or in the oven). Once they are soft enough to poke a fork through them they are ready! Use one carrot per bun and add all the toppings of your choice like ketchup, mustard, relish or anything else you like on a hot dog!

BBQ Brussels Sprouts

If you're not a big fan of brussels sprouts, you will be now! This recipe only takes 30 minutes to make and it tastes great. While the BBQ warms up, place the brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, vinegar, honey, mustard and red pepper flakes and salt. Mix it all together and place on skewers. Grill the brussels sprouts until they are golden and tender. Once they are done, garnish with vegan or regular parmesan cheese and serve as a side dish to chicken, tempeh or beef.

Balsamic Grilled Mushrooms

Mushrooms are pretty much perfect for throwing on the BBQ. This recipe's secret is in the sauce. You'll love this Balsamic Grilled Mushroom recipe -- especially if you're vegetarian. Start by tossing the mushrooms in a bowl of balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and pepper. Let it sit and marinate for at least 20 to 30 minutes, then stack the mushrooms on a skewer. Grill for a few minutes per side and serve. You can garnish them with some fresh parsley and serve as a side dish to a salad, beef, or chicken.
